APN settings for Albanian operators
The APN tells the device how to reach the internet. Without it, the device cannot reach the server even with signal.
Why it matters
The GPS device uses the SIM card's data connection to send its position. If the APN is wrong, the device has network signal but cannot send data, and the panel shows Offline.
Common values
| Operator | APN | Username / password |
|---|---|---|
| Vodafone Albania | vodafone (verify) |
empty |
| One Albania | internet (verify) |
empty |
Verify with your operator. Values change over time and depend on the contract type. Business or M2M (machine-to-machine) SIM cards often have a dedicated APN that the operator gives you with the contract. If in doubt, call customer service and ask for "the APN for data on a device".
Quick checks
- The SIM card needs active mobile data and credit or a data bundle.
- Remove the SIM PIN by putting it in a phone first.
- Data roaming must be on if the vehicle leaves Albania.
