Inviting users and choosing the right role
Add colleagues to your account and give them only the access they need.
Steps
- Open Users
In the sidebar choose Users.
- Invite
Click Invite user, enter the email and choose a role.
- Limit vehicles (optional)
Choose the vehicles or groups they may see.
- Send the invitation
They receive an email with a link to set their password.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and API keys |
| Admin | Everything except billing and ownership transfer |
| Dispatcher | Live map, history, alerts and commands (if allowed), no settings |
| Viewer | Read only, can be limited to some vehicles |
Limiting to some vehicles
For dispatchers and viewers you can choose specific vehicles or groups. They will not see other vehicles, nor their reports and alerts.
Removing a user
When someone leaves the company, deactivate them straight away. Their sessions end and they can no longer sign in.
